Frequently Asked Questions
Do you have an office?
No, we are strictly a mobile veterinary clinic and do not have a stationary office.
Do you offer grooming?
No, we are not equipped or staffed to do any grooming or bathing.
Are you more expensive than other clinics?
Our prices are comparable to the prices of most other clinics. We do charge a house call fee. Our fee is $60 in the city of Lafayette and may be slightly more for surrounding areas. This fee is not per animal but only per visit.
What if I run out of medications or need a refill?
We keep our pharmacy fully stocked and with us at all times, so all you need to do is contact us. We will either put it in the mail to you that day or if it is needed immediately, other arrangements can be made.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, checks, Visa and MasterCard.
Are you open on weekends?
No, our hours of operation are Monday – Friday, 8:30AM – 5:00PM. Because we are closed on weekends, we are happy to accommodate some cases with appointments after 5:00PM. If you have an emergency after hours or on the weekend, like most veterinary services of Lafayette, we do use the services of Lafayette Animal Emergency Clinic which is located on Winchester Drive (off Congress behind Capital One Bank). They can be contacted at (337) 989-0992. The emergency clinic will refer all cases back to us on the next business day.
